VzW LBS performance tests are performed on an R&S TS8980. As a minimum configuration for this option, the following is needed: an R&S CMW500 protocol tester with LTE FDD stack incl. 2x2 MIMO (R&S CMW-KP510), an R&S CMW-B510A digital I/Q interface, 2× frontend basic, as well as R&S CMW-B450 with R&S CMW-KA100, R&S CMW-KA150 and R&S CMW-KM050. In addition, the following equipment is required: an R&S AMU200A baseband signal generator and fading simulator with 2× B13, 1× B14, 1× B15, 2× B17, 2× B18, 1× B81, 2× K62, 2× K71 options, as well as an R&S SMBV satellite simulator with R&S SMBV-B103, R&S SMBV-B10, R&S SMBV-B92, R&S SMBV-K44, R&S SMBV-K65, R&S SMBV-K66, R&S SMBV-K91 and R&S SMBV-K92. Furthermore, a control PC, R&S TSCTRLPC1 equipped with the R&S CMW-KT014 automation manager, the R&S CMW-KT11 message analyzer, the R&S TS8-KT100 CONTEST base software and the R&S TS8-KT140 CONTEST summary report (recommended) are required.
